ClientKnot

PRIVACY AND GOOGLE USER DATA

Your business data stays under your control.

Approved for release; effective after production publication. Last updated September 15, 2026.

ClientKnot is a product of Alba Studio Group LLC. This notice explains how ClientKnot handles personal information and data from a Google Workspace or Gmail account that a workspace owner chooses to connect.

What Google data ClientKnot accesses

ClientKnot requests the Gmail permission needed to read email in the connected Inbox, keep the mailbox synchronized, and send only a reply that an authorized person has reviewed and approved. It stores the connected email address, provider identifiers and synchronization state, normalized conversation messages, and the exact approved outbound wording and delivery state. Attachments are not imported.

How Google data is used

Google data is used only to place customer email in the correct private ClientKnot workspace, prepare grounded reply suggestions, show the conversation to authorized workspace members, and send an exact human-approved reply. ClientKnot does not send customer email autonomously.

Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use

ClientKnot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. ClientKnot does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models, for advertising, or for sale to data brokers.

Sharing and human access

Google data is not sold. It is available only to authorized members of the workspace and to service providers that process data to operate ClientKnot under confidentiality and security obligations. Human access by ClientKnot is limited to security or abuse investigation, support requested by the user, legal compliance, or aggregated internal operations where the data has been minimized.

Storage, security, and retention

Disconnecting is different from deletion

Disconnecting Google revokes ClientKnot's provider access but does not delete conversations already imported into the workspace. A workspace owner can separately request deletion from the authenticated Data and privacy section. The request can be cancelled for 24 hours and otherwise is due within 30 days.

Your choices

You can choose not to connect Google, disconnect it at any time, archive conversations without deleting them, or request deletion of the complete workspace. ClientKnot's public Gmail connection remains unavailable until the retention, deletion, recovery, and verification controls described here are operationally verified.
